We’re saddened to say that one of Righteous Babe Records most beloved
artists and friends, Sekou Sundiata, passed away on July 18th from heart
failure. He lives on in each one of us that he touched with his poetry
and his presence. His voice, with which he so musically reported the
rhythm and news of his community and country, resonates in the work of
Ani and many others.
